An extended-range stretch of the Boeing 767, the 767-300ER became the most popular member of the family and a transatlantic mainstay for decades. It seats about 218 passengers in two classes and up to 351 single-class, with two GE CF6-80C2B6F turbofans supporting a range near 11,070 km at 851 km/h. First flown in 1988, the aircraft measures 54.9 metres long with a 47.6-metre wingspan and a maximum takeoff weight of 186,880 kg. Its 2-3-2 economy layout, which leaves no more than one middle seat per row, earned lasting passenger favour on long-haul routes and kept the type in wide service well beyond its contemporaries.
