ウイングボックスとは？
ウイングボックスは航空機の翼と胴体接合部の中央構造核です。前後の桁、上下の翼外板パネル、翼弦方向の小骨で形成される閉じたトーションボックスです。飛行中の揚力が生じる巨大な曲げモーメントと剪断力を胴体フレームに伝達します。
航空への応用
Airbus A350 XWBのウイングボックスは客室床下を通過する巨大な中央ボックスを含め全面CFRPで製造されています。Boeing 777Xでは折り畳み式ウイングボックスジョイントが導入されています。
